Marie Curie Cancer Care provides care for terminally ill patients. They have a network of 2,000 nurses who work in the homes of terminally ill patients across the UK, providing practical care and support.

The charity also has nine Marie Curie Hospices across the UK which provide expert care and the best quality of life for people with cancer and other terminal illnesses. Marie Curie Cancer Care are the biggest provider of hospice beds outside the NHS.

Marie Curie Cancer Care is also known as a leader in research into the best ways of caring for people with terminal illnesses. Together for Short Lives works in association with Marie Curie Cancer Care through the Transition Taskforce to ensure that young adults with life-limiting conditions receive appropriate care.
