Ruby Backus was diagnosed with Sandhoff Disease – a terminal condition – when she was 16 months old. Dealing with the condition was tough on Ruby's mum Nikki, and twin brother Sam, and the family found the support they needed from Acorn's Children's Hospice. "I do not know how we would have got through without them," says Nikki.

The support Rhys and his family receive from Demelza Children's Hospice and Community team helps mum Naomi cope with tough times and build good memories.
