This article is an example of the evidence-based process: doing a critical literature review and benchmarking other institutions’ practices to better guide clinical practice. Nurses can become confused or overwhelmed by the literature review process when there are large numbers of studies to evaluate. Thus, it is useful to construct a table to better organize the key components of each article. This author has included a helpful table of reviewed studies pertinent to her clinical topic.
