Join 16,000 runners in the must-do event of the season. See all the sights of London as you go – Buckingham Palace, the House of Parliament, the London Eye, Marble Arch and the Royal Albert Hall. Enjoy the buzz of the crowds and join our team today!
As well as the race there is a Food and Fitness Festival so make it a day out for friends or family who want to cheer you on.
The event itself is the best run I have ever done, covering amazing routes including Buckingham Palace, Westminster, Embankment, and then all the central London Royal Parks. The timing always works well, setting off at 9 am on a crisp, Autumn morning whereby the roads are closed to cars and runners have London to themselves for a few hours. The charity itself does great work, supporting families at what must be a time of great need, having heard the news that a child will have a shortened life. As a father of 2 young girls, I appreciate it must be an unspeakably difficult situation to come to terms with. Despite the emotional trauma, you, of course, need to find a way through the sadness to ensure you maximise the time you have left together. Any charity that supports people in these tough times is extremely worthy of support. For both these reasons, it is a must-do event.

As well as asking friends, family and colleagues for donations, you can also organise extra fundraising activities to reach your goal. It’s split into two sections; covering quick fundraising ideas for busy people and larger fundraising activities such as setting up a pub quiz.
