Together we Trek is an exclusive corporate supporters trekking challenge. This year, on 14 September, we will be taking on 22 miles (approx) of Wiltshire country side…by the light of the moon!

We will be trekking throughout the night, passing one of the wonders of the world and the best-known prehistoric monument in Europe, Stonehenge, for sunrise. We will be there to keep you going through the night with hot chocolate station and luminous paint stand, and finishing off with a celebratory breakfast in the pub. We are so excited to take on this challenge and would love to have your team join our adventure!

The trek will follow a route through the countryside of Wiltshire and will be fairly low level with some rolling hills.

Take advantage of our early bird registration fee of £20 by signing up before 28 February 2018.

Rough itinerary (all approximate and subject to change)

  • 8.30pm event registration, briefing and dinner (Friday)
  • 10.30pm the trek starts
  • 6.30am we pass by Stonehenge – although Stonehenge will not be open at this time so we won’t be able to get up close to the stones, you’ll see them clearly and be able to take photos (Saturday)
  • 8.30am finish trek and celebrate with a yummy breakfast

If you wish to return to visit Stonehenge after breakfast, the official area opens at 9am and parking is free if you’re purchasing a ticket – which is £16.50. You can book advanced tickets on their website.

You CAN hit that sponsorship target!

Don’t be overwhelmed by the sponsorship, you’ll make it and who knows – you may even smash it!

As well as asking friends, family and colleagues for donations, you can also organise extra fundraising activities to reach your goal. When you sign up, you’ll receive a fundraising pack which has loads of ideas to help get you started. It’s split into two sections; covering quick fundraising ideas for busy people and larger fundraising activities such as setting up a pub quiz.

We are always here to help support you in reaching your goal, so feel free to get in touch with us any time. If you have any questions or concerns please contact Karen Yates on karen.yates@togetherforshortlives.org.uk.
