Rainbows Hospice with their Premier Foods hamper delivery
Rainbows Hospice

Premier Foods, a leading British food manufacturer, welcomed Together for Short Lives as its new charity partner in May 2020.

To celebrate the start of this special partnership, Premier Foods put together care hampers that were delivered to children’s hospices up and down the country, filled with Premier Foods cupboard essentials and treats to support hospice care workers and families during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Aiming to raise £200,000 over the course of a two year partnership, each Premier Foods site is twinned with their local children’s hospice, so the funds they raise will support children and families in the communities where they live and work.

Family time is precious and at Premier Foods we believe in bringing families together at mealtimes to make moments to treasure. No one knows more about the importance of family 'together time' than Together for Short Lives. We'll be engaging colleagues across our whole business behind the partnership, supported by our network of Charity Champions who are responsible for vital fundraising and awareness initiatives.

David Wilkinson, HR & Communications Director for Premier Foods

Premier Foods staff are raring to go with lots of virtual and traditional fundraising and challenges as well as a ‘donation station’ for each site – where unused clothing, games and homewares can be donated by staff to support their local children’s hospice charity shops.

Andy Fletcher, Together for Short Lives CEO says: “We could not be more grateful to Premier Foods for choosing us as their charity partners for the next two years. It’s wonderful news for us to share at this difficult time. Children with a life-limiting or life-threatening condition, and their families, need the support of their local children’s hospice now more than ever; so I’m thrilled that Premier Foods will help us make sure these families get the vital care and support they need today, tomorrow and into the future.”
