After 11 day old Violet died, mum Sophie needed to know she wasn’t alone. “My friends would say “I’ll leave you to it”. They meant well but space and silence wasn’t what I needed at that time.” That changed when Sophie received a call with an offer of a grant from Together for Short Lives. “I decided to use the grant from the Butterfly Fund to help buy a special casket for Violet. The grant was a great help – but the real gift was having someone to talk to.”
