The post holder(s) will contribute to the delivery of a range of high quality learning opportunities to enhance the student’s knowledge and understanding of palliative care (children’s) across the span of novice to advanced level courses. They will work in collaboration with the Lecturers in Palliative Care and the multi-disciplinary team in the planning, provision and evaluation of internal and external educational programmes which will be delivered through a variety of modes including study days, workshops and on-line options.
Main activities and responsibilities:
• In collaboration with the core learning academy team, contribute to the planning of learning to ensure that education sessions meet defined learning objectives taking account of best practice and the evidence base.
• Develop teaching resources (including digital content with assistance from E Learning Officer) where necessary, taking account of agreed practices.
• Deliver training as scheduled in the prospectus or commissioned programmes.
• Manage own teaching sessions, with administrative assistance.
