Robin House is one of the two hospices run by CHAS, which delivers the only hospice service of its kind in Scotland. We provide specialist palliative nursing care to babies, children and young people and as a Bank Nurse you will provide a high standard of family centered care, supporting the needs of babies, children and young people with life shortening conditions and their families.
You will provide specialist palliative nursing care through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care plans, and by adapting care plans as appropriate, to meet the complex needs of the children in your care.
In creating a home from home environment at Robin House you will combine specialist care with forming precious memories through play, arts and crafts, outdoor activities and new experiences; ensuring that Robin House is a place where children truly come to live life to the full.
There will be many opportunities to share your knowledge and experience with the Nursing Team, including Students and Care Support Volunteers. A combination of working day and night shifts will be available.
Your post qualifying experience of working with and caring for babies, children or young people with complex nursing needs and relevant clinical experience will be an asset. It is essential that you have a registered children’s nurse qualification.
