Brecon Carreg Barry Island 10K Event Volunteer

Tŷ Hafan are delighted to be the Lead Charity Partner of the Brecon Carreg Barry Island 10K. On 5 August 2018, forming part of the popular Barry Island Weekenders programme, Brecon Carreg Barry Island 10K will bring a festival of running to the popular seaside resort with fundraising, summertime fun and fancy dress at its heart.

The Brecon Carreg Barry Island 10k could not take place without the help of volunteers and we have some exciting opportunities available on the day which include manning the water station, handing out water to the runners as they go past and keeping them motivated. This is a great role as you’ll be right in the middle of the action. We also need help at our information stand.

There is no special requirements, all you need is plenty of enthusiasm.

Time 9am-1pm

Location: Friars Road, Barry Island

We are looking for individual or groups of volunteers. Young volunteers between 16 and 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
