Are you a curious and detail orientated driven individual with an insatiable thirst for problem-solving and process improvement? We are looking for someone innovative and forward-thinking to join us a brand new and exciting role as our Business Analyst.

You will work with stakeholders at all levels to ensure compatibility of business change to the underlying needs of the charity and alignment with its strategic direction. You will identify and assess potential options for both technical and business feasibility, whilst ensuring solutions provide the highest benefit, and embed the ongoing, perpetual review of business processes to identify problems and inefficiencies and enable resolutions in a timely way.

Our ideal candidate is someone who thrives on proposing solutions that will maximise positive impact, has the skills to communicate incredibly effectively at all levels of an organisation, appreciates the value of delving into detail, and proactively seeks out and utilises the use of technology to improve and redesign processes.

This role offers the right candidate an amazing opportunity to make a real impact in an extraordinary children’s hospice. Being a new role, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to really make their mark and ensure the post makes a significant positive contribution to the charity.

Essential skills and experience for the role:

  • exceptional interviewing and investigation skills, the ability to talk with individuals and groups about their needs , to ask the right questions to surface essential requirements
  • evidence of problem solving with an ability to simplify complex problems into component parts and evaluate systematically to provide creative solutions
  • been part of a range of projects that deliver positive change and drive improved efficiency
  • an understanding of digital, technology and ICT infrastructures to enable meaningful dialogue with internal teams and existing or potential external partners
  • comprehensive experience of business analysis skills, techniques, and practices
  • an understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies, ideally with experience of at least one of these or a comparable project management approach.

This role is hybrid, with a mix of working in our Oxford office and from home. The role is full-time but condensed hours would be considered.
