Due to the ongoing success of the Rapid Personalised Care Service, we continue to expand our service and are looking for new people to join our team. We welcome applications from applicants with a keen interest in caring for people and a passion for palliative care in the community – all training will be provided. We have a range of flexible contracts available between 37.5 – 44 hours per week.
As a Carer/Health Care Assistant in the RPCS you will provide personalised care and support for patients nearing the end of lives to keep them at home with their families and carers.
You will visit patients in their own homes across the Rennie Grove catchment area (Buckinghamshire or west Hertfordshire) so a car and driving licence will be essential.

To be successful in the role you’ll need:
- a caring and empathetic approach
- the ability to work effectively in an emotionally demanding environment
- to be able to observe and report changes in patients’ conditions
- to work autonomously and as an effective member of our team
The following will be particularly helpful:
- care certificate / NVQ qualification level 2
- experience of working within a care setting
- relevant experience in assisting patients with their personal hygiene
