Children’s Day Support Nurse – 37.5 hours per week

£23,144 – £26,836 per annum pro rata

We have an exciting opportunity for a registered nurse, with specialist palliative care experience to work within the Children’s Day Support unit. The role requires the Day Support Nurse to be able to use their skills, knowledge and expertise in a variety of situations, and be able to work using their own initiative as well as accessing and contributing to the skill base of the wider team.

The Day Support Nurse will be able to demonstrate effective clinical practice in complex medical care, with excellent assessment, communication and interpersonal skills, while working within the Children’s Day Support services, providing services at the hospice, in the home, in hospital or in the community, and to work in collaboration with other services, providing care and support for the child and family.

A full driving license is required for this role.
