Health Care Assistant – Children’s Inpatient Unit – 37.5 hours per week

£17,783 – £19,984 per annum, plus enhancements for night, weekend and bank holiday working

We are seeking to recruit forward thinking Health Care Assistants to work in our Children’s unit. The successful candidate will be committed to the delivery of high-quality care and support to Children with life limiting illnesses and their families whilst working under the supervision of a registered Children`s Nurse.

The post holder is required to have a NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care and an awareness of palliative care, alongside good literacy and numeracy skills. Duties will include offering emotional support and advice to patients.
