Clinical Nurse Specialist – Children’s Team, Rennie Grove

Rennie Grove Hospice Care is proud to be a truly unique charity.

We are national leaders with our pioneering 24 hour Hospice at Home service, across Herts and Bucks, with four daytime adult nursing teams, a night team for adults and a specialist paediatric team providing 24/7 cover. Last year we looked after more than 1,700 people in their homes, allowing 85% of those who wished, to die at home. Combined with our wide-ranging day hospice services in Herts, our absolute focus is to deliver specialist patient centred care.

We are seeking an experienced paediatric nurse for this exciting opportunity to play a significant part in the development of the specialist palliative care element of the children’s service. You will provide specialist palliative care nursing to children, young people and their families within their own home and establish effective working relationships with all service providers and partner agencies in Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire and the wider community. You will be involved in the management support and development of Band 5 & 6 Children’s Nurses.

Degree level or currently studying towards, with a minimum qualification of a Diploma in Palliative Care and a first level registered Children’s Nurse.
