East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) supports families and cares for children and young people with life threatening conditions across Cambridgeshire, Essex, Norfolk and Suffolk.

Clinical Nurse Specialist in Symptom Management Nursing Service
Full time, permanent (part time hours considered 0.8 FTE or above)
£38,900 to £44,500 per annum, depending on experience (pro rata for part-time)
As Clinical Nurse Specialist you will provide advanced level symptom management, care and support to children with life-threatening illnesses and complex health care needs living in Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, Suffolk and North East and West Essex as part of the EACH Symptom Management Nursing Service.

You will participate in an on call rota, triaging telephone calls and undertake face to face visits to deliver the symptom management service across the whole EACH catchment area as required.

This 24/7 service provides support for children and their families at home and clinical leadership advice and support to children receiving core hospice services across EACH.

The team acts as a point of contact for symptom control and management issues for professionals and teams within the regional managed clinical network (MCN).

This is an EACH wide service and the base of post holder will be determined following successful recruitment.
