LauraLynn Ireland’s Children’s Hospice is recruiting for this exciting opportunity of CNM3 Children’s Hospice Regional Hub Team Lead.

The Hub Team Lead is a key strategic position, and the post holder will be expected to develop and lead the first Children’s Hospice Regional Hub, based in Cork, Ireland.

The Team Lead will be responsible for developing and extending the reach of LauraLynn’s Community of Care within the Cork & Kerry region, ensuring relevant key stakeholders and healthcare professionals are fully informed of the LauraLynn Model of Care. They will ensure the comprehensive and specific complex needs of children, young people and their families living in the region are met.

Essential Criteria – ideally the successful candidate will possess the following:

  • registered Nurse with at least 5 years post-registration experience
    together with a minimum of 3 years in palliative care or another area
    of relevance
  • a minimum of higher diploma in level 8 NQAI or equivalent
  • evidence of relevant management education / training
  • experience of working with children or young people with life-
    limiting conditions and their families
  • a Degree/Msc in management and/or Palliative Care/Nursing,
    preferably in paediatrics, is desirable.

Please note that whilst this position is not publicly funded the salary is linked to the national pay scales.
