We are looking to recruit two passionate and motivated Community Engagement Officers to join us on a two-year fixed-term contract to help us to reach and support more children and young people from under-represented groups across North and Mid Wales.
Your role will be community-based and will require you to work in partnership with families and local community representatives to identify children and young people who have life-limiting conditions that don’t currently access our services.
You will engage with these children, young people and their families to learn more about their needs and communicate our services in a culturally sensitive way, which overcome barriers and lead to new hospice referrals.
With outstanding communication, engagement and influencing skills, you will have experience in a similar post or hold a relevant qualification in community engagement/development, health, or social care.
We are looking for someone who is vibrant, passionate about diversity and inclusion, keen to promote the Children’s Hospice Movement and flexible in their approach to work to suit the needs of the families and children we care for.
