Derian House Children’s Hospice is proud to have been providing high-quality care to children and young people with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions for nearly 30 years.
The Derian care team provides symptom management, palliative and end-of-life care, as well as short break respite care to children, young people and their families across Lancashire, South Cumbria and Greater Manchester. Supported by our dedicated community team, family support team, neonatal services and young people’s services we are able to provide a wide range of support and care in a variety of settings.
We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join our Derian at Home Community team as a team leader. Working with the Community Services Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing a small team of nurses and support workers who provide respite, palliative and bereavement care for life-limited children and their families in the comfort of their own home. Having the chance to build relationships with children and their families helps make this a particularly fulfilling role. Previous community experience is desirable.
