An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Events Co-ordinator to join the highly successful fundraising team at Derian House in Chorley.

Derian House provides respite and end of life care to life-limited children and their families, to help make every moment matter. Support is currently offered to over 350 families across the North-West and Cumbria and a large proportion of the £4.3m it costs to run the Hospice annually must be raised through donations and fundraising activity.

Working with the Community Fundraising Manager and Income Generation Manager; the successful candidate will establish a calendar of inspiring events to drive forward existing, and develop new event initiatives in order to deliver income targets, improve return on investment and open Derian House up to new audiences in line with the fundraising strategy.

The successful candidate will have experience of organising and delivering successful large-scale events, along with experience of creating, implementing and evaluating event activity. Experience of using social media channels and an understanding of media relations is also required.
