Hours – 22.5 hours

Location – Loughborough, Leicestershire and working across the East Midlands

Salary – Band 7 or equivalent

Our family support team wish to recruit a highly motivated, professional and enthusiastic individual to lead the continuing success and development of our already established team, providing support for families of children and young people with palliative care needs throughout the East Midlands.

The Family Support Lead will have experience of working in a similar background and have strong experience of palliative care and children and young people with complex health care needs.

You will already have experience in managing a team within a care or support environment and possess relevant qualifications. The post holder will also lead the ongoing development of Rainbows Family Support Services. You will also have a clear understanding of the diverse and complex needs of families and be creative in how these needs can be met.

If successful you will have an active role within the hospice and beyond promoting the work delivered by the hospice and family support teams. You will work autonomously as well as deputising for the Head of Family Support and Outreach as and when required.
