The Major Giving Fundraising Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the fundraising efforts for both St Barnabas and Chestnut Tree House by providing administrative and logistical support to the Major Giving Team (MG).
The primary focus for this role will be to maintain the database, support in MG special events, such as our annual fundraising gala, The Snowman Ball, and to deliver high levels of customer care for all our major donors. The Fundraising Assistant will report to and work with the Head of Major Gifts to provide support to the wider Major Giving Team on a range of tasks as required.
You will have proven experience of supporting teams administratively in the charitable or corporate sector, demonstrating your ability to manage multiple communication streams at any one time. You will also have experience in co-ordinating small, mid and large-scale events and/or campaigns. You will have an ability to work collaboratively as this role requires working across a number of teams.
You should be able to demonstrate a passion for the vision of both St Barnabas and Chestnut Tree House/Adult and Children’s hospice sector. This role will require you to work occasional evenings or weekends for events and campaigns.
