Are you looking for a new challenge? We are looking for a Health Care Assistant to join our busy community team, working throughout East Sussex delivering respite, end of life care and support to children and young people.
You will be working towards NVQ level 3 in health care or other relevant qualification. You will need to have excellent communication skills with the capability to interact with teams and families at all levels with the ability to work in collaboration with other professionals.
This role requires a flexible approach to working and will be led by the needs of the case load. Working days will be generally fixed but hours flexible to include, early mornings, late finishes and weekends. Fixed days may need to be flexible as dictated by the needs of the children and young people.
This role requires extensive travel, so a valid driving licence, for use in the UK, and access to a reliable vehicle is essential for this role. As a valued member of Demelza, we will offer you free uniforms, free DBS, ongoing professional support and role specific training. Time for travel will be paid, plus a generous mileage allowance.
Please note this is a temporary contract for a period of up to 2 years.
