This is an exciting opportunity for 2 people to join our small and friendly Housekeeping Team that focuses on delivering excellent standards of hygiene and infection control for our children and families. In this palliative and respite care setting, the Housekeeping Team play a vital & valued role to ensure patients and families feel comfortable during their stay at the hospice.
We are looking to recruit 2 passionate Housekeeping Team Members in this part-time (15 hours) permanent role, and in return for your work we can offer you £9.80 per hour. You’ll have great communication skills, a positive attitude and always happy to engage with our families and team.
You’ll be working both independently and as a team, cleaning offices, hospice communal areas, toilets, bathrooms, and family’s accommodation. The hours of work will be Monday – Wednesday, or Wednesday – Friday, 9:30am – 2:30pm. There may be the requirement for occasional weekend working to cover periods of Annual Leave.

We are looking for candidates with the following experience and skills:
- previous experience of domestic responsibilities
- understands the importance of good hygiene and infection control
- knowledge and understanding of confidentiality
- experience of working in a care setting
- be proactive in your approach to work.
