We are looking for a talented person with a passion for fundraising and or marketing to join our friendly and busy team in this Permanent Full-Time role. Now is an exciting time to join. We are successfully testing new marketing channels and methods and have seen a significant rise in income.
You will support the Individual Giving Manager with both donor recruitment and retention activities and will work across several different income streams, including Regular Giving, cash, lottery and legacies to deliver over £1 million income annually. You will help deliver a calendar of fundraising campaigns and activities across digital and traditional channels, including direct mail, telephone, face to face, social media and email. You will support the Induvial Giving Manager with monitoring performance of our individual giving income streams, evaluating all campaigns and making recommendations for improvements.
You will be creative and enthusiastic and possess strong interpersonal skills, alongside an ability to simultaneously work on a number of different projects. The position requires someone with a can-do attitude who is both creative and analytical. You will be digitally savvy with a passion for excellence in supporter care. In return for your work, we can offer you a competitive salary of £25,000 – £31,000 per annum, with an Anticipated Recruitment Range of £25,000 – £28,000 per annum.
This role offers the right candidate a great opportunity to make a real impact in an extraordinary children’s hospice charity based in Cowley, Oxford. The ideal candidate will have experience in individual giving and or marketing in a charity.
Essential skills and experience for the role:
- experience supporting marketing campaigns across a range of channels, including social media, email, and direct mail.
- experience in supporting complex projects involving multiple stakeholders and delivering them to budget and schedule.
- analysis skills and the ability to interpret results.
- excellent oral and written communications skills.
- ability to proactively plan and manage a varied and busy workload with strong attention to detail.
- able to work independently and use initiative.
