IT Manager

For a complex organisation like Forget Me Not, having IT systems that are reliable, dependable and secure is absolutely vital. We support children and families 24/7, we have 13 shops with their own IT requirements, and we have embraced hybrid working so need to ensure our systems support emerging technologies.

All of which means, as IT manager, you’ll play a pivotal role at Forget Me Not. Supporting the delivery of core hospice services and ensuring that everyone has access to effective and robust IT, you’ll also be instrumental in delivering and implementing our IT and data strategy through PowerBI data dashboards and SharePoint data warehousing. You’ll also be responsible for managing our IT and data analyst and work in partnership with other team members, particularly our quality and compliance officer and information governance lead.

Making this an incredibly varied role. Your day could be anything from ensuring that laptops are operating in all the shops, or helping the care team with our electronic records system, to managing routine server maintenance, delivering the strategy, or ensuring value for money with IT contractors.

Of course this means we’re looking for someone with exceptional IT management skills, who’s committed to delivering robust IT services. With experience of leading and managing an IT support function in its entirety, you’ll also be experienced in building data dashboards and driving and supporting organisational change through the delivery of ICT business plans and training programmes.
