Hope House Children’s Hospices are bright, homely, active and supportive places. We have two hospices, Hope House situated in Morda, Oswestry and Ty-Gobaith situated in Conwy. We are a charity that cares for children with serious conditions, who are not expected to live longer than early adulthood. We help them enjoy the best possible quality of life and be as comfortable, happy and fulfilled as they can through short respite stays, emergency care or for end of life care.
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Nurse at Ty Gobaith Children’s hospices to join our Care Team. Working as part of a friendly team to provide holistic care and support to children & young people with complex, life-threatening conditions and their families, offering a beautiful, homely and fully equipped workplace. Having the time to build relationships with children and their families whilst they are at the hospice and between visits helps to make these incredibly fulfilling roles.
A background in palliative care would be welcomed, but is not essential and consideration will be given to recently qualified paediatric nurses. We are looking for flexible and diverse nurses, this role involves working across the hospice services both in-house and in the community to suit the needs of the families and children we care for. If you think you have got the special qualities we are looking for, we would love to hear from you!
