We are looking for Nurses to work as part of an integrated multidisciplinary team. Based at our Milton Hospice. The purpose of this role is to facilitate optimum quality of life for children and young people with life limiting or life threatening conditions, and their families.
At EACH, our Nurses have the time and opportunity to provide excellent quality, holistic care that is family-centred, needs led and evidence based. This is achieved through the provision of specialist palliative care nursing interventions based on comprehensive holistic assessment and goal focused care planning. We also provide education and support to both patients and their families, as well as health and social care professionals.
Working one–to-one both in the hospice and with opportunities to work in the community, you will be able to develop your knowledge and new skills in children’s palliative care whilst maintaining your existing clinical skills.
You will also have the opportunity to work in collaboration with other EACH services including the Wellbeing and Symptom Management teams and external services providing care and support for children and their families.
You need to be able to work rostered hours on variable shifts, consisting of earlies, lates and nights, weekends and public holidays.
In return, we can offer a rewarding career with the opportunity to make a real difference. We offer a comprehensive induction programme, on-going training, support, and clinical supervision. Other benefits include generous annual leave and pension package (including the option to continue with an NHS pension if already contributing), free parking, Cycle to Work scheme, enhanced maternity pay and a childcare voucher scheme.
