Practice Development Nurse
We invite you to join our highly motivated Learning & Development Team as a Practice Development Nurse! We are looking for a candidate to deliver an inclusive education and skills development programme to our dedicated clinical staff. Your role-modelling of evidence-based practice and competency in clinical skills will positively impact the development of our clinical skills framework.
Helen & Douglas House is a registered hospice charity based in Oxford, providing palliative, respite, end-of-life and bereavement care to life-limited children and their families. We foster a climate where team members feel able to openly question, debate and appropriately challenge their own and the practice of others.
In this role you will be encouraged to employ your clinical expertise in every decision that you make. Your valued knowledge and experience will benefit our utterly dedicated nursing teams who are focused on personal growth and achieving clinical excellence.
This is a permanent full-time role, although part-time hours will be considered. This role is Rank 3 and attracts an annual salary of £34,541 to £41,000 per annum dependent on experience. The hours of work are 9:00-17:00 with some flexibility (e.g. when supporting clinical training days or working on a clinical shift). You will be working on site at the hospice, with the opportunity to have some working from home days.
