We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and innovative Professional Development Lead to our Care Services team here at Tŷ Hafan.

About the role
The postholder has specific responsibility for design and delivery of specialised education and training programmes and professional development initiatives across the care team. This includes successful onboarding of new care staff and, the continuing professional development of existing care staff through education and practice improvement, and revalidation. The postholder is also responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with higher education providers to ensure Ty Hafan fulfills the criteria for specialist practice placements for appropriate health and social care students and provides high quality practice placements.
About you
We are looking for someone who is:
- Experienced at designing, delivering, and evaluating education and training.
- An excellent communicator with the ability to engage and build strong relationships at all levels.
- Able to demonstrate a commitment to multi-professional working
- Able to continuously develop and keep knowledge, skills and practice up to date and maintains practice portfolio/meets revalidation requirements.
