We provide care and support for adults and children diagnosed with cancer and other life-limiting illness, and their families, visiting day and night. It’s important work and, to make it all happen, we need talented and passionate people.

This role is in place to assist the Head of Family Support Service in maintaining and developing the Rennie Grove family support service and strategy. You will work from Grove House, St Albans, however travel between all Rennie Grove offices is required so a car and driving licence will be essential.

Part-time hours are available with the possibility of two part-time roles.

You’ll need:

  • degree level/diploma
  • accredited or eligible for accreditation with BACP and/or UKCP
  • relevant experience of managing staff/volunteers
  • proven experience of working effectively in a team
  • experience of working with bereaved families
  • experience in palliative care
  • caring and empathetic approach
  • commitment to Rennie Grove purpose
  • your own car and driving licence.
