We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Nursing Support Worker to join our team at Robin House on a temporary basis (6 months, with the possibility of extension up to 12 months).

Robin House is one of the two hospices run by CHAS, which delivers the only hospice service of its kind in Scotland. We are offering an exciting and unique opportunity to work alongside a highly motivated and skilled team and to be part of an organisation where everyone is passionate about the work we do.

We provide specialist palliative nursing care to babies, children and young people and as a Nursing Support Worker you will contribute to providing a high standard of family centered care, supporting the needs of babies, children and young people with life shortening conditions and their families.

In creating a home from home environment at Robin House, you will support our Nursing Team to combine specialist care with creating precious memories through play, arts and crafts, outdoor activities and new experiences; ensuring that Robin House is a place where children truly come to live life to the full.

We are seeking compassionate, enthusiastic and creative Nursing Support Workers who have a willingness to learn and experience of working in a Health, Social or Child Care setting. You will have the skills to assist in the delivery of care for babies, children and young people with nursing requirements, and the ability to adapt the care you give to meet the individual needs of families.

As well as being a good communicator, able to work co-operatively with colleagues, you will also be an innovative thinker, self-motivated and committed to your own learning and development.

We have just launched our new 3 year Strategic Plan – ‘Reaching Every Family in Scotland’, making this an exciting time to join CHAS.

Please note this role is subject to a satisfactory PVG check.
