Dougie Mac are currently looking to recruit Registered Nurses to our developing Young Adult Service. Successful candidates will share our passion in providing excellent holistic and person-centred care to young adults and their families.
At Dougie Mac our vision is to be admired as a centre of excellence for palliative care. Our new, developing Young Adult Service will provide service users and their families with physical, emotional, social, psychological and spiritual support, both within the hospice and out in the community.

Main duties of the job:

  • to work as an integral part of the Young Adult Service: assessing, implementing and evaluating nursing care for service users living with palliative or complex health conditions
  • to complete a wide range of clinical interventions
  • to act as a mentor/role model to Care Support Workers
  • the right candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the drive to ensure our young adults and their families receive the highest possible standard of care.
