Teenagers and Young Adults with Cancer In-Person Study Day
New and innovative approaches to care of this patient group will be discussed and some of the unique and evolving roles within the speciality.
This study day will provide an overview of care of teenage and young adults cancer patients, and it will provide a unique opportunity to hear about the lived experience of teenage and young adults from the patient perspective with a panel discussion.
The day will culminate with discussions around palliative and end of life care, and exploration of the emotional impact of caring for this patient group and how as clinicians we can build resilience.
This study day is aimed at medical, nursing and allied health care professionals who have an interest in care of teenage and young adult patients with cancer. No previous experience is necessary.
