The Butterfly Fund is a helping hand, providing a one-off payment of £300 to families following the death of a child.
There are no strings attached to the grant, families can choose to spend it on anything they want.
Who is it for?
Grants are available to any UK family who have cared for a child or baby diagnosed with a life-limiting or life-threatening condition during their life. Applications can be made for children who have died before their 19th birthday and should be submitted within eight weeks of their death. Our Frequently Asked Questions gives more details.

Support the Butterfly Fund
When a family loses a child, they need time to grieve, not be worrying about money. Yet when a child dies of a life-limiting condition, many families suffer financial hardship on top of coping with their grief and loss. If you want to help grieving families you can donate to support the Butterfly Fund today. Your gift will give a family a helping hand when they need it the most. Donate now.
