Support with shopping and household essentials

If you care for a child with a life-limiting or life-threatening condition we may be able to help you get emergency support with food shopping or household essentials.

We can make referrals to Rosie’s Rainbow Pantry, which can provide a food shop delivered to your door. It’s free and the food is chosen especially for you and is intended to provide a week’s worth of meals.

We can also refer families to BBC Children in Need’s Emergency Essentials programme, which provides items to families living in vulnerability or crisis. This might include a bed or cot, a cooker for a hot meal, furniture, clothing or other items.

Your eligibility for either of these schemes will depend on your own individual circumstances so please get in contact with our family support team using the form below, the live chat button above, or call us on: 0808 8088 100.
