Listening support

Mum on phone

Are you a parent, carer or professional who looks after or knows a child or young person up to the age of 25 who is expected to have a short life?

We understand some of the things that can be difficult for you when caring for a seriously ill child. So if you have questions or just need someone to talk to, our confidential helpline is here to help. You can call us on 0808 8088 100, contact us using the form below or select the live chat button on this page.

Our small team is here to listen and give you personalised support. Making use of our knowledge of the NHS and our member charities, we can help you find information that may help you, and we may also be able to signpost you to professional support or services for support.

Or, if you just want someone to talk to about what you’re going through in caring for your child, we’re happy to just listen.

We embrace diversity and support all parents including disabled, LGBTQ+, adoptive and foster parents, and parents from all ethnic, religious and cultural groups. We use Language Line interpreters where needed. We can also use Relay UK for callers with hearing and/or speech difficulties.
