What is What a Lotto?

What a Lotto is a National Lottery giving players the chance to win up to £2,000 every day and £25,000 each month in a Jackpot Draw!

Who can take part?

WhataLotto is available to anyone aged 18 years and over who is a resident in Great Britain.

How do you pay & play?

It costs £12 a month to be entered into the Lottery and this is paid by a monthly Direct Debit on the first of the month.

How do I sign up?

Entries are made online via Direct Debit at Whatalotto.

What can I win?

You’ll have the chance to win up to £2,000 every day in the Daily Draws and a huge prize of £25,000 in the Monthly Jackpot Draw, which is drawn on the last Friday of every month.

How will I know I have won?

What a Lotto will email and pay you automatically within 14 days of winning. You don’t need to do anything. Details of winners and winnings can be found here.

How do I receive my winnings?

Winnings will arrive in your bank account within 14 days from “MBC ELM Limited”.

How do I update my details?

How do I stop playing?

How does Together for Short Lives benefit?

What a Lotto donates at least 20% of every play to the Jackpot Community Trust who then distribute funds to their charity partners. Together for Short Lives is one of the beneficiaries and donations received will be used to support the work we do making sure seriously ill children get the care they need. What a Lotto covers the costs of the prizes.

How do I stop receiving Lottery promotions?

What a Lotto is licensed and regulated in Great Britain by the Gambling Commission as MBC ELM Ltd under account number 45374.

MBC ELM Ltd, 39 St Vincent Place, Glasgow, G1 2ER are lottery managers for lotteries such as the Scottish Children’s Lottery, The Scotto and What a lotto. MBC ELM Ltd. Distribute 20% of the proceeds to their chosen charities.

What a Lotto will hold your personal and payment details to run the lottery. This will include managing payment details, reminders and occasional contact for developments related to the lottery. They do not share your data with any organisation. Together for Lives does not have access to the data you provide to participate in the lottery.
