Julie Taylor

Julie has over 35 years’ experience in children’s healthcare across the NHS, private, and charitable sectors. As Executive Nurse at Rainbows Children’s Hospice, she’s led a major transformation of clinical services, expanding palliative care into hospitals and the community and tripling the number of children supported.

Julie is passionate about building a sustainable workforce, including nurse-led services and is behind a vision for Rainbows to become a recognised centre of excellence in children’s palliative care research and education. This is building on five years of research and development at Rainbows and collaboration with external education partners.
