Sarah Buchan-Cooke

Sarah joined our Advisory Council following the death of her eldest son, Dylan, from the rare neurodegenerative condition Sandhoff Disease, aged nearly four. She is a mother of three.

She was supported throughout by her local hospice, Great Ormond Street Hospital and community nursing teams, and is passionate about using this experience to ensure families have genuine choice and the support needed to navigate the complex systems that make up children’s palliative care.

Previously Sarah worked at the Royal Albert Hall, where she helped to project manage high-profile events.
