Paediatric Palliative Care Foundation Programme
This two day blended programme is a mix of face to face teaching including lectures, small group work, facilitated discussions and talks from experts and experienced staff who work in Paediatric Palliative Care. The taught programme is delivered over two separate days with a 2-3 week gap between.
Additional online learning activities have been developed to complement the taught element of the programme. Course participants are required to complete some of this learning prior to the first day of the programme and between the two taught days.
Audience:
All qualified nurses from any setting, specifically those with an interest in learning about paediatric palliative care at a foundation level.

Aims & Objectives:
· To develop the knowledge, skills and confidence of nurses caring for children and young people with life limiting and life threatening conditions.
· To help equip nurses to deliver the best possible palliative and end of life care to children and families therefore improving outcomes.
