We are delighted to announce that leading insurance risk and commercial law specialist, BLM, has selected Together for Short Lives as their charity partner. The new partnership will span two years and will be operational across all of BLM’s 13 offices.
BLM’s charity partnerships are part of the firm’s commitment to making a positive contribution to society and the communities it operates in. Each BLM office will be twinned with their local children’s hospice, allowing their staff to make a difference in the communities where they live and work. BLM will undertake a series of fundraising, mentoring and volunteering activity to make a significant difference for these children’s hospices, and children and families they provide their vital care for.
Commenting on the partnership, BLM’s senior partner Matthew Harrington said: “Together for Short Lives is a welcome ray of light for families facing unbearably challenging times. Through our new partnership we are thrilled to be able to offer our support. There are not enough words to describe how incredibly rewarding this cause is – Together for Short Lives provide loved ones the opportunity to enjoy precious time with their child, making memories that will last a lifetime. Our 13 offices will be twinned with a children’s hospice to provide direct support to families in every one of BLM’s local communities through a fantastic range of fundraising activities.”
Andrew Fletcher, Together for Short Lives CEO said: “We are thrilled to be named as BLM’s new charity partner. Together for Short Lives works to ensure that seriously ill children and their families can make the most of every moment they have together, whether that’s for years, months or only hours. I know that BLM will help us make a huge difference for these families by supporting children’s hospices local to each of their 13 UK and Ireland offices. I’m looking forward to working together to help change lives for the better.”
