Nick Carroll

Nick became Chief Executive at Together for Short Lives in 2024, following five years in senior leadership roles at the charity. He was a member of the Commission on Palliative and End of Life Care, bringing the distinctive needs of children with serious illness and their families to the national debate.

Under his leadership, Together for Short Lives uses its advocacy and convening power to bring together families, professionals and providers, including children’s hospices, to help shape national policy and improve families’ access to high-quality, sustainable children’s palliative care, when and where they need it.
