Give families a Gift to Remember this winter
Children’s hospices walk alongside families through the most difficult journeys imaginable – providing expert care, comfort, and compassion when a child’s life is expected to be short. And when the unimaginable happens, they’re often the first to be there, helping families through the heartbreak of saying goodbye.
But for many families, the pain of loss is compounded by financial pressures that make it harder to grieve. Our Butterfly Fund exists to provide parents with a monetary gift after their child dies so they can remember them in a special way.
Over winter last year, applications to our Butterfly Fund soared by more than 200% and we struggled to meet the demand. With more families turning to hospices for help, we fear the same will happen again this winter.
That’s why we’re launching our Winter Appeal – to make sure that, together with children’s hospices, we can be there for families during the toughest times.
