We want to improve the quality of children’s palliative care so families have the best support and care possible.

We have produced a series of free training programmes for anybody who may come into contact with the family of a seriously ill child.

This training is useful for those working in children’s palliative care and also those that are not.

Children’s palliative care: learning to communicate with families

Following many requests from families and professionals, Together for Short Lives has developed this learning programme as an introduction to children’s palliative care communication. It is primarily aimed at those professionals who are not palliative care specialists, but who play a key role in caring and supporting children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions (and their families).
