Band 6 (£37,178 – £45,431) | Full-time (37.5 hours per week)
30 hours per week focused on education and 7.5 working clinically, including some unsocial hours
Based at our children’s hospice in Maidenhead
Alexander Devine Children’s Hospice Service is a local charity that provides specialist care and vital support to babies, children and young people with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions, and their families, across Berkshire and the surrounding counties.
We are seeking a passionate and motivated Practice Facilitator to join our dedicated Care Team. This is a unique opportunity to combine your clinical expertise with a focus on education and development, helping to ensure the highest standards of children’s palliative and end-of-life care.
In this role, you will work with the Lead for Practice Education to:
• Support, mentor and develop our team to embed a positive culture of learning.
• Deliver and co-ordinate training programmes, student placements and preceptorships.
• Contribute to policy development, research and collaborative working with our partners.
As part of this role you will also work clinically as part of our Care Team , ensuring your skills and knowledge remain current.
We are looking for a registered children’s nurse with at least two years relevant clinical experience and an interest in developing their own skills in training and education.
