Joanna Blewett

Joanna is a member of our Advisory Council, having worked for Demelza Children’s Hospice for seven years, including directly with families as a support worker. She also has lived-experience as a parent of a child with a serious cardiac condition.

Her son is cared for by the Evelina Hospital and Joanna is an antenatal support volunteer for the Evelina Children’s Heart Organisation (ECHO), a charity which supports families affected by children’s heart conditions.

Joanna is passionate about using these experiences to ensure the voices of children, young people, and families are represented across children’s palliative care.
