Our people
Amy joined our Advisory Council following the death of her son, Frazer, from CLN2 Batten Disease aged nearly four.
Formerly a school teacher, she now works as an SEND Officer advocating for children with special educational needs in her local area.
Amy is also part of an Expert Parent Carer group working with the South West Children’s Palliative Care Strategic Clinical Network to improve palliative and end of life care for babies, children and young people.
She has spoken publicly about her lived-experience on multiple occasions and is driven by a desire to improve support for families facing similar journeys.
