Lorraine Sutton
Lorraine is a Kentown Family Service Coordinator working closely with families to identify their needs, help them navigate the support services available to them which may help to enhance their quality of life. My experience prior to working for Together for Short Lives was as a senior in mental health supporting people to integrate back into the community and become more confident and independent, generally helping them to gain a solid footing back in society. I have also worked in education, mainly with complex needs children, finding the best individual approaches for their learning and development and supporting them with their all-round well-being. I have also had a wide variety of experience in family support.
I have recently graduated with a masters degree in Sustainability, Health and Wellbeing and prior to this I completed a degree in Education studies. What has driven me down this path is my passion to help people live the best life they possible can and overcome their challenges along the way.
In my spare time away from work I enjoy weekends at my static caravan, going for walks and socialising. I enjoy singing in a choir. I also enjoy reading, especially philisophical books.
