A Connected Scotland: Tackling social isolation and loneliness
The Equal Opportunities Committee report found that social isolation and loneliness was a problem in Scotland, and recommended that the Government developed a national strategy to tackle it. This consultation gives an opportunity for everyone to share their views on social isolation in Scotland.
In the last Parliamentary term the Scottish Government welcomed the report, which was the first of its kind anywhere in the world, and this consultation is part of its process of developing solutions to the issues raised.
